The Board of Directors of the Corporation is pleased to announce that Colin Hardie M. Eng, MBA. has been appointed Chair of the Board of Directors (BoD) and that André Allaire Ph.D., former BBA president, has been appointed as a director.

BBA, a firm that specializes in the energy and natural resources sectors, and Lombardi, a global specialist in hydraulics and transportation infrastructure, have just announced the creation of a strategic alliance.

BBA is setting up its first talent centre in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, bringing the firm closer to many highly qualified potential employees who live in the region.

On May 2, Julia Gartley, BBA Team Leader, Mineral Processing, and Board member, received the Canadian Young Mining Leaders Award from CIM-Bedford. Bestowed by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), this award recognizes outstanding achievements of some of Canada’s most promising mining leaders.

BBA is proud to announce a strategic partnership with C3 Human Factors Consulting Inc. (C3HF), a team of specialists in human factors engineering and cognitive psychology that serves industrial clients, including companies in the mining, defence and transportation sectors.

At a time where women are still under-represented in the profession, a group of BBA women engineers have created the Osmosis Network, an internal group that focuses on synergy to advance women’s talent and stimulate conversations around gender diversity.
